 Chelsey lay sprawled out on her cotton sheets, filling out applications for modeling jobs, a cheap plug-in fan blowing her golden-streaked hair back from her freshly made up face. For years now, Chelsey had been struggling to find a modeling job that paid well enough to convince her parents to allow her to permanently move to New York, where she would be able to finally live the life she had dreamed of since she was a little girl. Escaping from the stronghold her family had on her was all that she ever wanted out of life since she was old enough to understand the broken-home that she came from and it’s effects on her. When she finally was able to break free, though, what she found was far different than her sheltered life in Georgia.
The innocent Southern belle grew up in an understatedly broken home. Her father frequently dabbled in money laundering. Sam Rosen had stolen a great deal of the money that Chelsey had earned through her modeling and used it for his own recreational purposes which consisted largely of gambling and cocaine. When she was nine, Chelsey's father got caught in one of the biggest drug busts the East Coast had seen in years, causing the family to be the media focus for longer than Chelsey would have liked to remember. Much like her father, Chelsey's mother, Rachel, had her own fair share of problems. A 'recovering' alcoholic, Rachel slipped back into her old ways once Chelsey turned twelve.
Chelsey’s modeling was one of the sole reasons her family didn't have to go on welfare while she was growing up. As the only form of steady income that the Rosen's received for most of Chelsey's childhood, she continued modeling not because she wanted to, but because selling her body and her looks to overweight business men who chain smoked cigars was the only way she knew how to get by in life. With weekends spent going from one shoot to another, the lifestyle Chelsey lived left very little time for friends or other recreational activities. Everything changed, though, when at the tender age of twelve, Chelsey was taken by social services out of her family’s home and into a more civilized and rigidly structured environment with her extremely religious, strict, and wealthy aunt and uncle who instilled values in her that she had never been taught by her parents.
 After attending Catholic school during her middle school years, Chelsey’s aunt and uncle decided to send her to The Waldorf School for high school, leading her to believe that her modeling career would flourish if she were in New York City, though the reasoning was as simply as the two not wanting to raise a child. Known as "the model" from the day she began at TWS, Chelsey maintained her quiet, reserved, independent aura for her classmates. Seen as some by snobby and stuck up, Chelsey’s timid and sheltered personality sometimes led to wrong impressions. During her high school years, Chelsey met her current best friends; Natalie Stewart and Jordyn Tague.
Having just graduated from TWS, Chelsey has just entered her freshman year at Rutgers University. Thankfully, her two best friends will be right by her side. Jordan, Natalie and Chelsey have been best friends since high school and are inseparable. While the three sometimes have their disagreements, as would any group of friends, they are always there for one another. Each girl bearing their own unique and distinctive personality, the group of three girls is known throughout The Waldorf School as being inseparable.
Currently eighteen years old, Chelsey has grown into an independent, feisty young women as she does the best she can to be successful. In a sentence, she has become beautifully broken but managed to bury it all away and move on.  While she is nowhere near conceited, Chelsey is aware that her looks can often get her what she wants. Because she has learned throughout her whole life exactly how to be the object of the masculine gaze, Chelsey has come to be nothing less than a sex goddess - Though most of her peers would never in a million years think of labeling her as such. Her love life is a constant roller coaster. Chelsey and her recent ex-boyfriend, Alexander Mateo, had an intense physical attraction to one another from the moment they met. While they've had many ups and downs, and frequently fight, they can't seem to give each other up regardless of what happens. One of their biggest obstacles was Chelsey's best friend, Kevin Smith. Best friends since they were young children, just about any and everyone they come into contact with deems them as destined to get married. Now, with college on everyone's mind and the hot summer heat to warm things up, who knows what will happen...
To others, Chelsey may come off as snobby or stuck up due to the fact that she has strayed away from alcohol, drugs and most boys, but to Chelsey, all that she was concerned with throughout most her life was making enough money to get by. Her innocent Southern charm and flirtatiousness often draws people in as well as her warm personality and the loyalty she shows when it comes to sticking up for her friends. With her first year of college on the horizon, Chelsey has began to shed her good girl image and begin reveling in all that the grown up world has to offer.
